Convenient, Compassionate Notary Services…
Where You Need Them
Hospital notary Delaware services provide convenient notarization for patients, families, and nursing facility residents.
We understand that important documents sometimes need to be completed when traveling to a traditional notary office isn’t practical. Our goal is to make the notarization process as convenient, respectful, and straightforward as possible.
Appointments are scheduled in advance so we can confirm the location, documents, identification requirements, and any special circumstances before the appointment.

Depending on the document and applicable requirements, our services may include notarization of:
- Powers of attorney
- Advance directives
- Healthcare-related documents requiring notarization
- Affidavits
- Financial documents
- Estate-related documents
- Personal and family documents

The notary does not determine whether a document is legally appropriate or whether notarization is required.

How It Works
01 — Schedule the Appointment
Provide the facility or location, requested date and time, document information, and any special circumstances we should know about.
02 — We Come to the Facility
We meet you at the agreed-upon hospital, nursing facility, rehabilitation center, assisted-living facility, or other approved location.
03 — Verify Identity & Willingness
We verify the required identification and confirm that the signer appears willing and able to participate in the notarization.
04 — Complete the Notarial Act
The document is signed and notarized according to applicable requirements.
All required signers and witnesses must be present when required.

What You’ll Need
Before the appointment, please have:
- The document(s) requiring notarization
- Acceptable government-issued identification
- All required signers present
- Any witnesses required by the document or applicable requirements
- Any instructions provided by an attorney, facility, financial institution, or document issuer
- Confirmation that the facility permits the notary appointment
Please do not sign documents in advance unless you have been specifically instructed to do so.
Documents should generally be complete before the appointment, except where applicable law or document instructions allow otherwise.
Special Considerations for Healthcare Locations
Our hospital notary Delaware service is designed to make notarization more convenient for patients and healthcare facilities.
Healthcare appointments may involve additional considerations.
The signer must be able to participate in the notarization process and communicate directly with the notary as required.
A notary may need to decline or postpone a notarization if the required identification is unavailable, the signer does not appear willing or able to participate, or applicable notarial requirements cannot be satisfied.
Empire National does not make medical, mental-capacity, legal-capacity, or competency determinations.
If there is a question about a person’s legal capacity to sign a document, that question should be addressed with the appropriate attorney or qualified professional.
