What Is Occupancy Verification?

Occupancy verification is a field service used to document whether a property appears occupied, vacant, or otherwise in use based on observable conditions at the time of the inspection.

Depending on the assignment, our field representative may document exterior conditions, visible activity, property maintenance, vehicles, signage, and other observable indicators.

Occupancy verification does not determine legal residency, ownership, tenancy, or a person’s right to occupy a property.

How It Works

01 — Assignment Request

Provide the property address, assignment instructions, and any specific information or documentation requirements.

02 — Field Visit

An Empire National field representative visits the property and conducts the requested observation within the assigned scope.

03 — Documentation

We document observable conditions and capture photographs when included in the assignment requirements.

04 — Report Delivery

The completed field documentation is prepared and delivered according to the client’s reporting requirements.
